Introduction -

Phan Thiet is the capital city of Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam. Located on an arm of the South China Sea, Phan Thiet is one of Vietnam's most important fishing areas. Its population is roughly 205,333 (2004). Ho Chi Minh lived in Phan Thiet for a short time and taught at the Duc Thanh school. During the war, Phan Thiet was the site of the US military base known as Landing Zone Betty which was located at the now closed Airfield South West of the City

Program Schedule -

DAY 1 HO CHI MINH

Upon arrival, Meet representative at airport, transfer to hotel, free for the evening.

DAY 2 HCM - MUINE (B,L)

Beachside

Breakfast in hotel, check out hotel, we drive 200km on very good roads linking Ho Chi Minh to Phan Thiet, which boasts one of Vietnam's biggest production of fish sauce The scenic road passes Phan Thiet Town before arriving at Mui Ne. The endless white sand beaches, the charming fishing villages, the desert-like dunes and numerous types of rare flora and fauna make Muine an ideal place for any one seeking an enjoyable escape. Check into hotel, have lunch and the rest of the nite is free for your own. Overnight in Muine.

Day 3 MUINE (B,L)

Trishaw Ride

Today we enjoy a half day guided tour of Muine City, proceed to the city by car where you will be transfered to a trishaw for a 3 hour visit to the various parts of the Muine City - Visit the Fishing Port where fishermen bring in their daily catch, watch the hassle and distribtuion of various fresh seafood, visit the Duc Thanh School where Ho Chi Minh taught his students when he was in his early 20's, viet Pagoda, Temple, Museum. Head back to hotel for lunch at the restaurant. The remainder of the day will be free for swimming or lazing on a beach. O/N in Muine.

Day 5 MUINE - HO CHI MINH (B,L,D)

Cruise Dinner

Breakfast in hotel, after which we will proceed to check out to head back to Ho Chi Minh City. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. A part of the pleasure of travelling through this region to HCM City is the simple joy of seeing the charming countryside and the smiling faces of the people. Along the way we can make stop as we please, to stretch our legs and take some wonderful photographs. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, we will proceed to Chinatown for a tour, visit local laquerware factory where you will be able to witness first hand how one of the finest laquerware products are made in Vietnam. Check into hotel, dinner will be onboard a River Cruise with Live show performance on the Saigon River

Day 6 Departure (B)

Breakfast in hotel, free till time for check out and departure to airport for flight back home.
