Vietnam Mystery provides you a chance
to discover the different fantastic landscapes and culture along
Vietnam, the friendly people, exotic cuisine, and bustling cities of
Hanoi with its museums, famous puppet theatre and Hochiminh. Explore
the most mountainous region, home to many hill tribe groups at Sapa, the
wonder of Halong Bay, Phong Nha Cave, My Son Holy Land. Study the
former major seaport and world heritage site of Hoi An, ruined temples
of the little known Cham Empire and the delightful pagodas and temples
of Hue. Explore the vast stretches of the Mekong Delta with its trading
villages and floating markets.
Day 01: Hochiminh city - Arrival (D)
You
are warmly welcomed by our Tour guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and
transferred to your hotel in the center of city. Halfday city tour
begins with Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ben
Thanh market. Have dinner on boat cruise or with traditional music or
show and overnight in Hochiminh City.
Day 02: Hochiminh city - Mekong Delta - Hochiminh (B/L)
Leave
the busy city for Mekong delta region. Upon arrival at Cai Be, enjoy
the local lifestyle with a boat navigating around the small canals in
the delta region. Observe the floating market where sellers and buyers
bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. Roam around and
observe how the people make the living from fruit trees such as coconut,
corn and other local product. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, stop
along the way to see Cho Lon, Saigon's China town. Overnight in Ho Chi
Minh City.
Day 03: Hochiminh - Tayninh - Cuchi - Hochiminh (B/L)
Start
an excursion to Tay Ninh and Cu Chi Tunnel. Drive to Tayninh to visit
the famous Cao Dai Temple and attend the noon service of the bizarre Cao
Dai sect - an extraordinary combination of all the world's great
religions: Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Christianity and
Islam.Proceed to Cu Chi to visit the basement of Vietnamese Army, a
system of tunnels to understand how our people lived, struggled and won
the war. Return to Ho Chi Minh in late afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi
Minh city.
Day 04: Hochiminh city – Danang – Hoian (B/L)
Take
a morning flight to Da Nang. On arrival, take a car to Hoi An Town, the
most tiny town of Vietnam, finish the visit Hoi An by walk within a
half day, but Hoi An previously was an importance port of Vietnam, where
Chinese and Japanese traders had come over to trade and live. Over
night in Hoi An Town.
Day 05: Hoian – Myson (B/L)
Take
a private car from Hoi An ancient town to Cham ruins at My Son. On the
way back, stop at Cao Lau Ferry Boat to get on a boat back to Hoi An,
visit Thanh Ha Pottery village & Kim Bong Carpentry village. Back to
Hoi An in the afternoon. Over night in Hoi An
Day 06: Hoian – Hue (B/L)
Take
a private car from Hoi An ancient town to Da Nang and visit Cham museum
then to Hue, passing Marble mountain, Hai van pass, China beach, Lang
Co beach. Have lunch in Hue and start a Citadel tour. Ovenight in Hue.
Day 07: Hue city - Enjoy Royal Dinner and Music (B/L/D)
Being
the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of the past
Emperors, and with Orient style – those tombs almost located near the
bank of Hue’s river – Perfume river. Take a drive to visit King Minh
Mang tomb, King Tu Duc’s tomb and embark the Dragon boat along Perfume
river while cruising on the Perfume river and admire sunset.
Enjoy Imperial dinner with Royal music - World Intangible Heritage.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 08: Hue - Hanoi - Halong (B/L)
Leave
the Imperial for a thousand years Capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, then
directly to Halong bay, The World Heritage Area of outstanding natural
beauty on the Ocean. Free and overnight in Halong.
Day 09:Halong - Hanoi - Sapa (B/L)
Take
a morning boat cruising around the islands, islets, caves and grottoes
on Halong Bay. Enjoy seafood lunch on boat and stop to visit Surprising
Cave and short swim (if weather permitted). Drive back to Hanoi &
overnight train to Sapa.
Day 10: Laocai – Sapa - Catcat village (B/L)
Arrive
at Lao Cai Train station at about 6.30, get on private car to Sapa.
Have breakfast and relax before explore Sapa town. In the afternoon,
take a 2km short trek to Cat Cat village, the home of H’mong Ethnic.
Meet & Talk with local people to learn more about their daily life.
Day 11: Sapa - Hanoi (B/L)
After
breakfast, drive to Black H'mong villages at Lao Chai San and Lao Chai
(15km from Sapa). Take a trek around the village, follow footpath to
Giay village in Tavan and trek back to main road for the drive back to
Sapa. Overnight train back to Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi - Hoa lu - Tam coc (B/L)
Start a trip to Ninhbinh at 7:30, Ancient Capital of Vietnam in 10th
century. On arrival, take a short excursion by bike to visit Dinh – Le
temples which was built in memory the Tran Dynasty Kings who defeated
Kublikhan's army, have lunch at local restaurant. In the early
afternoon, explore TamCoc (three grottoes) by rowing boat through the
rice fields, mountain ranges, This Area is considered as “Halong bay on
land”. Back to Hanoi and arrive at 17:00. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 13: Hanoi city tour (B/L)
Start
at 9h00 from your hotel by car to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and
Museum, One pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. After lunch, visit to
Temple, ArmyMuseum, HanoiFlagTower. Wander around Hoan Kiem lake then
visit NgocSonTemple and enjoy one hour cyclo trip around the trading
area in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy water puppet show and overnight in
Hanoi.
Day 14: Hanoi - Departure (B)
Leisure time for shopping before departure home.
