The first ever countryside tour

If you go to Vietnam and don’t visit the countryside, you’ll miss half of your Vietnam trip. Riding through typical Vietnamese village side that never saw tourists before, enjoying picturesque landscape, talking, staying with farmers in their house will help you a real impression of Vietnam landscape and Vietnamese people: beautiful emotional, simple and hospitable.
Onbike Tour has 2 destinations at the province of different characters:
Hatay tour brings you to a countryside which might be the last remaining Vietnamese village not affected by the world outside: bamboo scenes, hilly rice terrace, silent, melancholical life, simple, natural and hospitable local farmers. Hatay also has some of the most impressive pagodas in Vietnam.
Bacninh Tour takes you to the weathiest province in North Vietnam. You will see there vivid field working scenes and meet with hardworking farmers. A ferry trip brings you to the riverside with great mulberry fields like nowhere else in Vietnam. Bacninh is home of Budhism, some of the oldest and largest pagodas are in the province.
Two trips have similar schedule, the total distance to be covered on bike is between 16km and 20km. Pick 1 from 2.

07:50 Leave Hanoi by car (3-9 persons), enjoy landscape and guide story on the way.
08:30 Arrive at the village, greeting the host family and get bikes. Start to ride on bike with the our guide through picturesque scenes, stay at rice paddies, pagoda, village assembly hall, riverside etc,. You can make a stop on your request, talk with people, learn about their life, take pictures.
11:30 A noon break at the host home, where you can relax and hang around in Vietnamese style.
12:30 Start again to explore the countryside
Several short stops for guide stories, riding through exciting countryside: river dike, mulberry fields, bamboo shaded roads, brick fields, temple, war memorial etc., sightseeing, taking picture
15:00 Visit a nation-famous pagoda.
16:00 End of tour.
17:00 Arrive in Hanoi

BAC HA BIKING TOUR (5DAYS / 5NIGHTS)

With visits to the villages of the Black Dzao, Flower H'mong, Tay people... and the local minority markets, you will have a unique insight into the diverse culture here that few have experienced.

Day 1:

You will be picked up from your hotel 1 hour before train departure for transfer to the train station. Night train to Lao Cai. The night train leaves at 21:10

Day 2:

Arrive in Lao Cai early morning, pick up by the tour guide. After breakfast, you get bikes and start riding along culture village toward to Bac Ha. Arrive in Bac Ha, check in Sao Mai hotel. In the afternoon, you ride to visit Ban Pho, Ta Chai. O/N at Sao Mai hotel.

Car transfer: 55 km

Day 3:

Have breakfast in Sao Mai hotel. Leave Bac Ha for Can Cau (if we reach Can Cau on Saturday, we can visit a local minority market in that area). Return to Bac Ha at noon. In the afternoon, we continue riding to visit Nam Mom. O/N at Sao Mai hotel.

Day 4:

After breakfast, we ride to Trung Do (16 km) – if it is on Sunday, then you can ride to see Bac Ha market. After that, you will be picked up and transferred to Sapa town by car. Check in and sleep overnight at Cat Cat hotel.

Day 5:

After breakfast in the hotel, the tour guide will take you for a walk to see the local market and surrounding areas in Sapa town. In the afternoon, you will walk to visit Cat Cat minority village. Return to Sapa town, you will have some minutes to relax before the shared bus pick you up to Lao Cai train station for a night train back to Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi next morning.
The tour ends at Hanoi train station.

The area is one of astounding natural beauty with limestone peaks whose splendor is often said to surpass that of Halong Bay. It is true that this area is often referred to as the Ha Long Bay on land. The tour includes being rowed along the Boi River, which makes for a truly unforgettable experience, passing between towering limestone peaks

Day 01 : Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc –Ninh Binh

At 08h00 depart to Ninh Binh, enjoying the rural scenery along the road. Visit Hoa Lu old citadel. Have lunch at restaurant before taking the rowing boat along the tiny canal among the rice fields to visit Tam Coc (Three Grottoes). 15h30 back to the car for going back to Hanoi.
